Welcome to the production blog of Ghost Tours.
Sarah is a woman so caught up in school, work, and trying to figure things out that she misses life going on around her. Only when she opens her eyes to the magic of the world can she really determine the course of her life. What is going to make this film different from previous Heron Media films?
Time and money.
I currently have almost 4 full months scheduled for pre-production. I have never allowed myself so much time, and I am sure that the difference will be visible on screen when we're finished. I am also planning on doing some fundraising for this one. Stick around long enough and you'll hear more details about that. The thing is I really like this script. It's not just worth doing, but worth doing well. The difference between doing it for cheap and doing it for free will also be very visible on screen.
What can you expect if you decide to subscribe to this blog? The process of making a great film. You will get a chance to meet the crew and the actors as they get recruited or cast. You will get a peek into location scouting, costume building, gear testing. Have you ever wondered, "What is pre-production anyway?" This will be your chance to find out. And of course when we get to production there will be plenty of posts from the set.
If all of that sounds interesting to you then look for the box on the right that says "Follow by Email." It will ask you to confirm you really want it, but once that's done you will get a notice whenever there is a new post.
Need any extras? Seriously, though, I like your background for the blog. I'm just putting that out there because I know this is going to be a fantastic film.
ReplyDeleteAlmost certainly at some point - probably in April - I will post an announcement about looking for extras. The thing about a main character who is a tour guide is that you need people on the tours.
